Lab services and types of study

The Lab team recruits and manages a participant pool and advertises studies, tests study materials and procedures, assists with procuring specialist equipment and software, collects data and remunerates participants. Lab studies take priority over any other research assistance requests.

Faculty researchers are allocated two Lab Assistants (LA), one to run the experimental procedure and one to manage the access, stewardship of participants to maximise the efficiency in the data collection process for researchers and provide an organised and consistent user-friendly experience for participants..

PhD student researchers are expected to run their own research and are allocated one LA to manage the stewardship of participants.

Lab facilities

The Research Lab Team has experience with a broad set of data collection methods ranging from controlled lab experiments, to quasi-experiments, online and in-lab surveys, and field studies.

The graph and table below present a brief overview of what the lab has to offer in terms of facilities. For any questions regarding these facilities please contact the lab manager.
